Breathe Deeply and Appreciate the Moment

That’s what I try to do when the going gets tough and what do you KNOW...... It quietens down my mind, helps me stay calm!!!! My life is just fantastic right now!!7 weeks out and imp feeling great!!! Noticing changes every couple of days which is really exciting!!!

My job is so rewarding, I’m helping some truly beautiful people at the moment achieve their goals. Hoping I don’t sound so corny but I really do wake up and get excited to go to work! My clients are so valued to me and really make my day! I love this life I have chosen for myself and wouldn’t have it any other way!!!!

The 'super' market

I had a friend drop in to see me on Friday. After some lovely poached eggs, salad and some girly chit chat I asked her if she would like to come to the market with me while I did my shopping. I can’t seem to sit still for too long so if you come to visit me, we’ll either go for a walk, train, eat a healthy meal or shop. But that’s not such a bad thing I guess.

17weeks out and a recipe for success.

17weeks out from comp and I must admit I have surprised myself with the progress in just 3 weeks into comp prep. Even after all these years of training experience and changing peoples body composition, it still amazes me the reaction of the human body and what it is capable of doing in such a short period of time when it is done right.

Making Progress

Feeling FABULOUS and in control!!! Nine weeks to go till I can get up on stage again, yeah baby!!! Had my catch up with my coach and all was good, I’m on track and coming in nicely. We have changed my food slightly SO goodbye oats (love/hate relationship) love them dearly but boy they interrupt my digestive system!!! So my starchy carb source is the beautiful SWEET potato whom I love dearly also!!! I eat a truck load of vegetables and of course the right amount of fats and protein so my energy levels are super!!!

My carbs are eaten around my training!!! I was a teaching  Pump  but recently gave it up, I wasn’t enjoying teaching it anymore (lost my passion for it) and since then I’m loving my training even more! I can push even harder cause I know I don’t have to save myself for my class!!!! Pump was interrupting with my training lol……. So no more meals off plan I’m giving this prep my all. I’m so determined to come in better and tighter than any of my previous shows!!!

I have just organised my flights, accommodation, hair and make up for my  Melbourne  Show and just about to get the Sydney stuff organised as well (IFBB Australasians are 2 weeks after Melbourne) I’m doing all of this organising with a dear friend of mine who is also competing and it is making it fun!! I have never shared this experience with a friend before (both competing) I know this will be HEAPS of fun!!!!!! Jo Rodgers is doing my bikini. I’m leaving the ball in her court for the decorating (I picked colour) I trust her as she makes bikinis become artwork!!! She is amazing!!!!!

10 weeks

Today marks 10 weeks until i Fly to Melbourne and hit the FITX IFBB stage! As i mentioned in my last blog I'm mentally in a fantastic place and boy does this help with my comp Preparation....I'm feeling like a million dollars to not have the worry of getting a panic attack through my normal day life!
