A couple of weeks post Competition and I’m feeling fabulous…. The day before my comp I wrote out my PLAN OF ATTACK for when the show was over and what my goals are for the coming year.
I must say it worked a treat! Previous comps I just went on an eating binge for a couple of weeks and gained back the weight I lost in a matter of weeks (that sure wasn’t good for my beautiful hormones or mind) and then I was miserable and obsessed by food!!!
It is quite hard coming out of comp mode because you are so focused on getting lean for that one day, we don’t really think about what we will face after the BIG DAY!!!! This time I tried NOT to focus on the foods I wanted to eat and stopped myself from saying or thinking “I can’t wait to eat” and tried to really believe that food is just fuel!!!!! It is really hard because EVERYONE says ”bet you can’t wait to eat normally?” “are u hungry?” this time I was prepared, when I was asked these questions I threw a POSITIVE back and that seemed to shut people up lol………. I really don’t know if people mean to but, some thrive and bond on NEGATIVITY and want you to be struggling. Some people can’t handle when you are doing great! I don’t think they can help it sometimes as it is just their insecurities taking over!!! I’m staying positive and remaining with the belief that my food is my fuel and I don’t want to fill my tank with crap because when I do I feel and operate like CRAP!!! Not just my body but my mind suffers when I binge on processed/sugary/fatty foods! So all is great on the POST COMP FOOD FRONT!!! YAY
This weekend I’m off to FILEX flying to Sydney on Saturday morning…I’m super excited to be going and hanging out with the BEAUTIFUL Lindy Olsen and the Oxy girls!!!!!!
