I bumped into my neighbour the other morning while I was on my way for my daily walk. After exchanging pleasantries she asked what I was doing. When my answer was that I was just leaving to go for a walk my neighbour said “But why? You don’t need to exercise. You have such a good body” to which I replied without even thinking “That’s why”.

Time for a change

Aaaaahhh....sitting at the hair salon having a scalp massage and a deep conditioning treatment is one of life’s  little pleasures for me. I look forward to hearing all the latest news from my hairdresser  ‘Sara’and reading a trashy mag. This week ‘Sara’ was feeling a little flat and complained how she can’t afford a personal trainer and felt she would be out of shape for summer. ‘Sara’ also complained that she never has any time to eat during the day as she is so busy. This is when I stopped reading about Paris Hilton and sat up in my chair.

Every now and again...

The blame game

Oxygen Magazine, Covergirl Blog, Lesley MaxwellI caught up with a friend on the weekend for a coffee (no, she didn’t want to walk). After we had exchanged greetings and were waiting for our table ‘Tania’ apologised madly for putting on so much weight. I hadn’t seen her for quite a while and she was right, she had gained quite a bit of body fat. “It’s my new partners fault” she was protesting! It appears Tania has put on the ‘love kilos’.
