I was sitting in the breakfast bar having my poached eggs and wondering what excitement awaits me at the Filex convention. But where is the Oxygen stand? Oh ..then I have to register and there’s sooo many people ...and pick up my outfit. Panic was starting to set in! Suddenly a message appeared on my phone.  ”I have your passes and your outfits. We are on stand E20 and your passes are on the stand. Ring me and I’ll bring your pass out” It was the delightfully organised Lauren Moran from Oxygen. A huge smile came to my face as I felt like one of Charlies Angels!

Everything went like clockwork. The stand was absolutely fabulous, I got to meet the amazing Alicia Marie and catch up with our gorgeous editor Lindy Olsen who works tirelessly and always has time for everyone. I had so much fun with the other Covergirls who are like my Oxygen family and I came back home feeling motivated and ready to take on the next challenge whatever that might be.

When you are around so many like-minded people no one feels like a stranger as you all have an understanding of each other.  I met many new faces as well as catching up with so many fantastic friends. The weekend flew past too quickly and I had a ball. Thank you everyone who came to say ‘hi’ and I hope you all enjoyed Filex as much as I did.
